Norrona Men's Lofoten Gore-Tex Insulated Jacket

A durable and partly insulated waterproof ski/snowboard jacket.

This insulated shell jacket (808gr M/large) is made for freeriding but works perfectly for general ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope during colder winter days.

We use GORE-TEX® fabric because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 20), and total windproofness. It's insulated with a high-quality recycled Primaloft Silver filling distributed according to body mapping to pinpoint the proper insulation in the right place.

The fabric is a 2-layer woven ePE GORE-TEX® fabric with a 100% 75D recycled polyester face,104gm2. The Primaloft Silver insulation is 100% recycled polyester, The shoulders, elbows, and the front are 60g/m2, and the collar and back are 40g/m2.

Key features include: A helmet-compatible storm hood with one-hand adjustment, underarm ventilation, a snow skirt that can easily be hidden away thanks to a snap and fold solution, asymmetric cuffs, hand gaiters, hand warming pockets, chest pocket, goggle wipe, and an inside mesh pocket.

The jacket has a regular fit with articulated arms for optimal mobility and a longer cut in the back for extra protection.

We use great warmth-to-weight and water resistant Primaloft Silver insulation from the top of the thigh down to the boot in the front and in the seat area in the back.

The fabric is a 2-layer woven ePE GORE-TEX® fabric with a 100% 150D recycled polyester face,176gm2. The Primaloft Silver insulation is a 100% recycled polyester. The bottom leg is reinforced with a durable 91% nylon/9% polyester blend 360 gm2 to increase cut and tear resistance.

Key features include: A Custom-fit waist system, two zippered hand pockets, thigh pockets, a back pocket, a small coin pocket, side ventings waist to knee, reinforced lower leg hem with snap adjustments, snow gaiters.

The pants have a regular fit with articulated knees for optimal mobility.

The pureull is an all-natural material made in 100% ultra-fine 18.5 wool micron that offers the perfect balance between performance and non-itching next-to-skin softness. It's a medium-weight (180gr/sqm) single jersey knit which is highly durable for its kind in terms of both wear and tear, pilling, abrasion, and snagging. The wool is RWS certified, and it’s sewn and knitted in Europe.

Norrona Lofoten Thermal Pro Hood - Men's

This half-zip fleece jacket is made for freeriding and works for mountaineering, trekking, and general outdoor. It's made with different Polartec® fabrics to provide optimal thermal performance and comfort. We use the Polartec® Power Grid™ 186 g/m2 (89% recycled polyester, 11% elastane) in the back, stomach area, underarm, and hood because it offers excellent quick-drying and moisture-wicking properties. This patented grid design structure is a way to reduce fabric weight while increasing warmth and compressibility. Open-air channels surrounding each segment of the grid allow easy release of all excess body heat as it builds during activity. The shoulders, neck, and top sleeve are made in Polartec® Thermal Pro® 193 g/m2 (100% recycled polyester) because of its superb warmth-to-weight ratio. This unique knit technique creates air pockets that trap air and retain body heat, providing outstanding warmth to weight. Not only are they supremely comfortable, but these fabrics offer excellent breathability, dry quickly, and are very pill-resistant.
